Project Services > Water > Environment Agency National Contractors Framework 2 National Contractors Framework 2 (NCF2) for the Environment Agency Over the five years from 2006/07 to 2010/11, the Environment Agency is expected to have a capital works programme of around £1 billion. This, combined with their growing reputation as a leading environmental protection agency on the world stage, position them as an attractive and influential client. Whilst seeking to maximise the advantage of their position, they also recognise the need to develop appropriate and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers. We were selected to be one of six national contractors to deliver predominantly flood alleviation projects through a focussed partnership. This followed the success of our Combined Capital Works project, value c.£25 million, in the north east of England. We will be working with the Environment Agency to deliver capital assets and further protect large geographical areas from the effects of previously encountered catastrophic flooding. Procurement Route: Framework / Partnering / Competitive Target Cost Setting Sector: River Engineering Value: anticipated c.£50 million over five years |
