Contract 1 - construction of a Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) building sub-structure (excluding excavation and demolition), approximately 5m below surrounding ground level. The structure consisted of a reinforced concrete foundation raft slab, with supporting columns and walls.  All works were in-situ. 

Value:  £1.2 million.

Contract  2 - construction of the GIS building super-structure, involving structural steel support frames with composite cladding panels. Over half of the external cladding consisted of  high-specification brickwork with a variety of architectural features. Internally, two-storey office facilities were constructed, including services installation and decoration. 

Value:  £1.8 million.

Contract 3 - enabling works undertaken within a live National Grid Transco site environment, including services.

Value: £300,000.
