Located on the M5 motorway between junctions one and three, on the Titford Viaduct and junction two, this £15 million major maintenance contract extended some 3.5 km.

The works included carriageway re-construction on fill and viaduct, together with repairs to reinforced concrete viaduct decks and structural modifications to those decks, to cater for new anchorage arrangements for lighting columns and safety barrier posts. The works also included new deck drainage arrangements, repair and strengthening of steel box girder beams and temporary propping of reinforced concrete viaduct substructures.
