The project comprised over 1,000 tonnes of steelwork, supported on ninety two 610mm diameter piles and timber decking - designed to increase the floor area of the existing pier head by approximately 6,200m2. The majority of the steelwork was fabricated in our Belvedere facility prior to delivery to site. The pier extension was constructed in tidal conditions, requiring the use of marine plant.
