A1 Peterborough to Blyth ECI

for the Highways Agency

Early Contractor Involvement, design and construction  of six Grade Separated Junctions on the A1 between Peterborough and Blyth. All six work packages include the preliminary design process and promoting the scheme through the statutory process, including attendance at Public Inquiries, on behalf of the employer.

The A1 will be dual two lanes all-purpose until it reaches the Blyth Junction, where it is increased in standard to dual two lane motorway. The locations of the six junctions are: Apleyhead, Blyth, Markham Moor, Gonerby Moor, Colsterworth and Carpenters Lodge.
