Business Improvement Consultant

Summary of role

 

As a Business Improvement Consultant you will be responsible for the securing and undertaking projects utilising tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. You will combine your Project Leadership, Structured Problem Solving, and Stakeholder Management skills in working with teams to identify and implement solutions that lead to measurable and sustainable benefits for our Clients. As an agent of change you will also be critical to building a Continuous Improvement mindset throughout Interserve Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

 

·         Jointly develop the strategy for the business sector.

·         Identify and develop new works streams with our existing Clients as well as develop new Clients to ensure continued growth of the business.

·         Establish and implement Interserve Consulting’s business improvement policies and procedures.

·         Structure, lead and deliver business improvement projects that deliver operational improvement and benefit to our Client base

·         Facilitate and organise problem solving to achieve breakthrough in process performance

·         Conduct projects so as to ensure changes are implemented

·         Partner with operational Process Owners to develop and sustain results

·         Participate in the coaching and training of operational stakeholders

·         Act as change agent to instil a Continuous Improvement culture throughout our organisation.

 

Key skills/experience/qualifications

 

·         Proven track record of Operating on a Consultative basis with demonstrable delivery of new Client accounts and work streams.

·         Experience of continuous improvement projects, tools and techniques.

·         Undergraduate Degree or relevant work experience.

·         Possess recognized project management training.

·         Six Sigma Trained - Black Belt (preferred).

·         Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Visio and other analytic or process-based software.

·         Working knowledge of an appropriate statistical analysis package.

·         Experience or understanding of the construction industry.

·         Experience of working in a Business Development Capacity.
