Project Services > Careers > JD AE01RBUX Assistant Estimator This role is responsible for assisting the Estimating Team with overviewing all tenders within the department; identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks; validating sub-contractors; developing relationships with clients and supply chain; drive the implementation of established Interserve processes and develop team members. Working with the Estimating Team the key tasks will be: · Prepare for and attend Contractor interviews; · Appraise tender documentation to identify risk, opportunity, insufficient information, inadequate or incorrect design; · Oversee the subcontract enquiries to subcontractor designed packages; · Manage design team – holding regular design meetings; · Bid Management from first enquiry to award of contract; · Manage client relationship; · Prepare Tender submission, plan/manage the Tender period carrying out risk management throughout tender period; · Manage sub contract and material enquiry process; · Prepare Bills of Quantities; · Responsible for pricing of rates from first principles; · Assist design manager in preparing Contractors proposals for D&B projects; · Develop team members; · Maintain and develop own skills and knowledge.
