Owler Brook Nursery & Infant School used to share its site with Fir Vale Secondary School. The new school was built on a brownfield site a short distance away from its old position.
The staff at the school gave a great deal of input in terms of design, in order to build upon the success of the school. Internally, the teaching areas for each year group have light
and airy classrooms all linked in such a way that fosters the sense of common identity so important in a first school. Outside are areas for both formal and informal play, and spaces giving opportunities for expanding education in the external environment.
