PFI Investments > Case studies > Mosborough Primary School Mosborough Primary School There has been a primary school in the village of Mosborough for over 300 years, and one of the many strengths of the schools is it's identity within the local community. The new school built on a greenfield site continues this tradition and reflects the style and materials used throughout this semi-rural village. The low profile overhangs of the roof give shelter, and the outside spaces have been carefully planned to encourage the educational opportunities of outdoor activities providing space for play and organised sport in a secure environment. Internally the school has been laid out in teaching areas for the year groups, whilst maintaining a sense of unity and identity for the pupils and staff alike. The classrooms are light and airy giving a welcoming feeling of space for the young pupils. |
