For the British Institute of Facilities Management (BiFM) Interserve joint venture Landmarc Support Services is a finalist in the category of 'Best Practice in a Fit Out Project'. The £2.5m refurbishment project at Brunswick Training Camp, DTE Home Counties transformed four basic accommodation blocks into homes for around 500 new recruits whilst their existing barracks are rebuilt. Not only was this project completed within a challenging six month timescale, the team also worked closely with the Carbon Trust to introduce a number of carbon saving measures along the way, resulting in a projected 50% reduction in carbon emissions. At the Kimberley-Clark Golden Service Awards, Interserve is shortlisted with Network Rail and for an overall award with it's MacLellan brand, which is also through with Atomic Weapons Establishment and McLaren Technology Centre. These awards promote excellence in cleaning and support services and recognise and reward high service standards. Finally as proud sponsors of the 'Partners in People' award at the Premises and Facilities Management Awards, two Interserve contracts from very different markets have made it through to the finals. University College London Hospital (UCLH) in the category of Partners in PPP/PFI and Croydon Council in the category of Partners in Public Service. Interserve joint venture, Landmarc Support Services also joins the PFM finalists in the category of Partners in Multi Service for their partnership with the MOD's Defence Training Estate. These nominations follow a successful start to 2007, with Interserve winning the Cost Sector Catering Award for work with HMRC/DWP Newcastle Estates and achieving a 'highly commended' status at the prestigious Municipal Journal Awards for their partnership with Croydon Council. Interserve also received fourteen RoSPA awards including the Facilities Management Sector and President's Award, which is only received after 10 consecutive Gold Awards. |
