Interserve Bureau achieves Trend Technology Centre status

14 Jul 2001

The Interserve Bureau has received full accreditation as a Trend Technology Centre (TTC), confirming its ability to provide the full turnkey Trend BMS package, from a basic stand-alone controller to a complex multi-network system.

TTC accreditation was only awarded after an exhaustive quality audit of every aspect of the Bureau's operations, from financial trading arrangements to staff training - all Bureau personnel are experienced building service engineers specially trained in the operation of advanced systems hardware and software.
The Interserve Bureau is the remote building services monitoring arm of Interservefm, providing 24-hour staffed technical support and monitoring services. In addition, the Bureau will design, supply, install and commission remote monitoring equipment using the latest in network technology and associated building systems integration.

     "reduction in overall operating costs"

A major benefit of the Bureau's monitoring services is a reduction in the overall operating costs of maintenance by eliminating non-essential out-of-hours call-outs. This is achieved by remotely starting up stand-by plant and monitoring its correct operation so that the failed plant can be repaired during working hours.

Additional technical support available from the Bureau includes assessment of the operation of the plant connected to the building management system. Where appropriate, advice will be issued on how changes in programming could improve the environmental conditions and/or energy efficiency of the building. In this way, the performance of the plant is continually fine-tuned as the building usage changes.
