Interserve's MacLellan brand banks major new deal with Abbey

Interserve's MacLellan Retail Services has secured a major new contract with Abbey, the UK's sixth-biggest bank and the second-largest provider of mortgages and savings.

It will provide a fully integrated cleaning services solution to 356 branches in the North and Central regions. The two-year contract, worth £1.4 million per annum, includes branch cleaning, window cleaning and periodic cleaning.

MacLellan Retail Services will deploy its market-leading AVANSYS service model. AVANSYS integrates people, processes and technology in a revolutionary service solution - delivered through a genuine, national retail service infrastructure. 

National Accounts Director, Dave Carson, commented: "Abbey has an excellent reputation in the financial sector and we fully recognise the challenges in delivering services to large, multi-site retail portfolios.  We have been working closely with Abbey to ensure that we are supporting them 100 per cent in their goal to become the best bank on the UK high street for customers and employees."
