Collaboration is the key to our success in local government. On the ground our people are working alongside council colleagues in support of critical front line services.
Our portfolio includes offices, libraries, listed buildings, restaurants, houses, care homes, schools, community centres, crematoria and cemeteries.
Our strategic partnerships with clients such as the London Borough of Croydon and Slough Borough Council are designed to be innovative, forward thinking and sustainable. They are achieving significant savings and delivering a positive influence on public services.
Interserve has significant experience of TUPE transfers (circa 17,000 transferred) and has gained Admitted Body Status to ensure transferring employees' pensions are protected. All our employees participate in a learning and development programme to raise their skills and provide them with recognised qualifications. This includes our CARE programme in customer service, NVQs and our Skills Passport.
We positively support the Sustainable Development agenda and work closely with our partners to implement measures that help meet key government targets such as reducing waste, energy and pollution and increasing recycling.
Our service approach is recognised by industry. In 2007, Interserve won the Partners in Public Service award at the Premises and Facilities Management Awards for our work with the London Borough of Croydon.
Regeneration is important to both Interserve and local government. We are working together on initiatives to improve facilities for local communities. For further information visit Interserve's Regeneration microsite - www.regeneration.interserve.com |
