RMD Kwikform announces latest crop of Chilean orders

RMD Kwikform (Chile) has announced a number of recent major formwork and falsework successes, several of which have used the company's Maxima large panel formwork system.  These include the construction of a copper foundry at Caletones in the mountainous region of the O'Higgins Province, a sewage plant in Santiago, a meat production plant at La Calera in the north of the country, and the Pehvenche Bridge over the River Maule at Talca, 230km south of the capital.

Other recently announced RMD Kwikform projects have included two major water contracts that involved the use of specially developed Rapid Steel panels to construct circular water treatment tanks.  One called for the construction of several tanks in central and southern Chile, while the other was for the construction of a huge water treatment plant at Chillan in Biobio Province.  Rapid Steel panels were also used to construct an open auditorium for the Universidad Mayor medical school in Santiago.

Recently, the company has also completed the construction of decorative exposed concrete towers for a new ACINDAR administrative
building in Santiago for Empresa de montajes Industriales, one of Chile's major steel producers.
